Will Your New Year be Happy or Sappy?

James 4:13-17

1. New Year's Day is often a time for making plans

(James 4:13)

2.  Some plans are realistic, some are not

(James 4:14)

3. Plans should always be made in light of God's will

(James 4:15)

4.  Too often we boast of our plans because they are "our" plans

(James 4:16)

5.  If "our" plans are not in keeping with God's plans, it is sin

(James 4:17)
